Will Setting my clamp block outside of the 90 degree bend constitute the part to be over sized after bending? I calculated the bends using Autocad and all dimensions are correct. The only difference is I bent it from the end of the parts rather that the Center of the part. My overall size is about 1.5″ too large after bending.
No it will not. If you used the correct clamp block offset or lined up the bend start in the little alignment windows in the machine, you wouldn’t be off by anywhere near 1.5″. Something else is wrong. You can e mail us a photo or drawing of your layout and what you wanted your leg distance (center to center) to be, and we can double check it for you. -Joe
