Our poly tech soft shell jackets are water and wind resistant. Specifically designed to protect you from the elements, the soft polyester exterior fabric with interior waterproof coating keeps the weather out, while a bonded Micro Fleece interior lining gives comfort and warmth. These awesome jackets also have an adjustable hood, water resistant zippers with interior wind blocking flap, welt pockets, and drawcords with toggles at hood and waist. The Polyester fabric has a 100% waterproof Interior Coating… however, we give this jacket a water resistant rating since the seams are not waterproofed, which may allow water to eventually enter through the seams when exposed for extended periods of time in a downpour.
These are comparable in quality to soft shell jackets from Columbia Sportswear and Carhartt. They are not cheaply made.
Tech specs: 300gm shell, 160gm liner, #5 waterproof zippers, 20,000mm waterproof rating, breath-ability rating = 5,000, tear-away label.
