Description
The RogueFab M601 is the best value on the market: it competes in price with machines that come nowhere near its bending capacity, versatility, or technical support, while staying easy to use, accurate, and portable.
Need more capacity later? Any M601 can be converted into a full M605, so you’re never locked into today’s choice. See the M601-to-M605 conversion.
Current lead times are 1-2 weeks, depending on the order, and ship in the order received. This product is protected by US Patent No. 11529663.
DuraPlates are included automatically on all Welded/Powder-Coated M605 and M625 benders. Building a Weld-Together kit, or want them on an M601? Add DuraPlates to your cart.
Note: The hydraulic ram or system is sold separately, see the full lineup of options. Power requirements are listed below.

Capabilities of the M601 metal tube bender
We have the most affordable dies in the industry, and all of them bend 180 degrees or more. Forget about “90 degree one-shot” benders that stop at 90. With most hydraulic options, the M601 does 94 degrees in a single ram stroke, and continues to a full 194 degrees, enough for a true 180 after spring-back, by the third ram setting (two re-pins).
Bends Carbon and Stainless Steel
The M601 has been tested on carbon and stainless steel and handles both very well. It uses the exact same dies and reaches the same 194 degree max bend angle as the M605 and M625; the only real difference between the three machines is tube diameter. The M601 is rated up to 1.75″ diameter tube. Need to go bigger? Converting to an M605 removes that cap.
Other Supported Materials
The M601 also makes S-bends (see our videos section), and it bends:
- brass
- copper
- aluminum (round/square tube and pipe)
- thin-walled titanium for turbo manifold work and tubular titanium frames (when upgraded to an M605 and using our Mandrel Attachment)
It bends super thick DOM tubing and thin 4130 chromoly for roll cages with equal ease, and holds accurate 3D bends on either material.
Still comparing manual tube benders? This machine runs on air/hydraulic power (ram sold separately, $99-249), and there’s no contest on capacity: compare our maximum bend capacity to anything else on the market before you buy. It bends solid steel bar up to 2″ in diameter (we have the video to prove it, look under “Videos” in the menu above).
Power requirements by hydraulic option:
- Air/Hydraulic: 6 CFM at 110 PSI, no electricity required (a compressor with a storage tank can often get by with less than 6 CFM, also has hand-pump lever)
- 1.5 HP Electric/Hydraulic: about 8.1 amps at 220-250V AC
- 2.0 HP Electric/Hydraulic (with or without auto-bending stop): about 12.5 amps at 220-250V AC
- All electric/hydraulic systems are built for 60Hz power and also run on 208V; contact us for 50Hz options
- The 2.0 HP system can be wired for 110V on request, but draws over 25A and is rarely configured this way
Where is the machine made?
Built in the USA. Every frame starts as US-sourced steel and never leaves Oregon: our frames are CNC laser cut in Oregon, welded right here in our shop in Sandy (Oregon), and powder coated at an aerospace-certified coatings shop down the street. Dies are CNC machined on our shop floor in Sandy from primarily US-made Kaiser aluminum. We stand behind every weld because we made it ourselves. Hydraulic power is the one place you have a real choice: pick the fully US-made cylinder and hose setup with an assembled-in-the-USA 2HP power unit, or the lower-cost imported air/hydraulic ram, depending on what your shop needs. See our full country-of-origin breakdown by component.
Machine Dimensions
- Bender alone, ready to bend: 12″ x 30″ floor footprint; 12″ x 47″ x 32″ overall (L x W x H); 140-200 lb
- Bender on cart: 22″ x 34″ floor footprint; 22″ x 47″ x 68″ overall (L x W x H); 210+ lb, depending on cart contents
- Frame thickness: M601/M605 uprights are 3/16″ thick; the M625 steps up to 5/16″ for extra rigidity
Flexible Design
The best thing about our line of tubing benders is how easily they grow with your shop. Get the machine now as the basic M601 or the overkill-strong M625, and be up and running without spending your whole tool budget.
Die shapes available (same ecosystem across M601, M605, M625)
- Round tube
- Pipe
- Square tube
- EMT conduit
- Metric round tube (square upon request)
- Hex tube
- Plastic/UHMW/Delrin bending and pressure dies, available for nonferrous and polished-material processing if required
Down the road, there is no need to sell this machine to upgrade. You can:
- Add a mandrel attachment to bend extremely thin tubing
- Upgrade to pressure roller dies for more complex bend geometry and bending aluminum
- Upgrade to a 9.5 degree-per-second electric/hydraulic power system with auto stops for repeat parts
- Add a backstop and rotation gauges to track bend spacing and rotation on 3D parts
Need storage space? We sell cart kits and completed carts for our machines. Want to get advanced? We sell the best bending software in the business, already configured for our machines.
This tubing bender is no bait-and-switch: it comes with everything in the pictures except the hydraulic ram. Buy the ram from Harbor Freight to save on shipping, or get one right off our web page.
